Kalyan Sivasailam founded 5C Network in 2016 to address the mismatch between scans generated and specialists available to read them. The company built an AI-assisted radiology platform that connects more than 1,500 hospitals and diagnostic centres with over 400 radiologists, processing over 10,000 scans daily.
Bionic AI Suite, trained on more than 3 billion medical images, analyses CT scans, MRIs, and X-rays before radiologist review, helping reduce turnaround times from 24 to 48 hours to under 30 minutes in many cases. More than 10,000 expert corrections flow back into the system daily, continuously refining model accuracy.
The company has raised about $12.1 million from Celesta Capital, Tata 1mg, Unitas Ventures, and Axilor Ventures. It is now expanding into markets including the Middle East, Africa, Southeast Asia, and the United States as it moves toward managing the full radiology workflow from scan to signed report.
