Global aerospace and defence firm Airbus India Pvt. Ltd has expanded its Bengaluru footprint, leasing 151,000 sq. ft at Titanium Tech Park for a monthly rent of ₹97.09 lakh, according to lease documents accessed by CRE Matrix. The eight-year deal takes its total space in the tower to nearly 800,000 sq. ft.
The latest lease covers the entire third and fourth floors, measuring 114,955 sq. ft, and 36,755 sq. ft on the ground floor at ₹64 per sq. ft per month.
Of the total rent, ₹73.57 lakh is for the upper floors and ₹23.52 lakh for the ground floor. The security deposit is about ₹6.27 crore.
The third and fourth floor lease began on January 1, with rent payable from May 1.
The ground-floor lease commenced on November 1 last year, with rent effective from March 1. Both run until October 31, 2034. The agreement includes 203 parking spaces at ₹3,675 per slot per month.
In January 2025, Airbus leased 563,000 sq. ft across the sixth to fifteenth floors at a monthly rent of ₹3.60 crore. In September 2025, it added 57,508 sq. ft on the fifth floor for ₹36.80 lakh per month.
Those 10-year agreements covered over 620,000 sq. ft and included a clause allowing expansion by another 150,000 sq. ft after a year, a provision that now appears to have been exercised.
In a LinkedIn post, the Karnataka ITBT Department said, “With this deal, Airbus’ total office footprint in the tower rises to nearly 800,000 sq. ft, supporting the growth of its global capability centre focused on engineering, digital innovation and R&D.”
Airbus, present in India for more than 60 years, has stepped up local sourcing, engineering, maintenance and training under its Make in India strategy. In a recent blog post, it described India as a strategic hub for talent and research supporting its global aerospace programs.
