  • Infosys Ltd, India’s second-largest software services exporter, named Carlos Alcaraz its global brand ambassador under a multi-year deal that will also see the company develop AI-powered match analytics and a performance app for the Spanish tennis star and his team.

The Bengaluru-based company said the partnership will use its Topaz AI platform to help Alcaraz and his team with match preparation and strategy, extending Infosys’ push to apply data and artificial intelligence in professional tennis.

Alcaraz said the tie-up would help him gain deeper insight into his game through data and AI.

The move builds on Infosys’ broader tennis technology push through its partnership with the ATP Tour, which the company renewed in 2024 to drive AI-led innovations for players and fans.

ATP said in January that the relationship had since been extended through 2028.

Infosys said the partnership will also include joint initiatives with the Carlos Alcaraz Foundation focused on tech-for-good projects.

Alcaraz, winner of seven Grand Slam singles titles including the US Open and Wimbledon, is the youngest man in history to complete a career Grand Slam by winning each of the four major tournaments.

“I’m honored to partner with Infosys; a company I’ve followed closely and admired for how it is transforming tennis through technology,” Alcaraz said.
“We are delighted to welcome Carlos Alcaraz as our global brand ambassador,” Sumit Virmani, Global Chief Marketing Officer at Infosys, said, adding that Alcaraz “embodies next-gen’s  fearless, agile spirit, and the next generation is driven to push boundaries in pursuit of excellence.”
