    Bengaluru-based space startup Pixxel and AI firm Sarvam are developing Pathfinder, India’s first orbital data center satellite, to process AI workloads in space. The 200 kg-class spacecraft, set for launch by Q4 2026, will be designed, built, launched, and operated by Pixxel, with Sarvam supplying onboard AI systems for training and inference.
