Sunita Sarawagi is one of India’s leading computer scientists in machine learning and language understanding. She is Institute Chair Professor of Computer Science and Engineering at IIT Bombay and was founding head of C-MInDS from March 2020 to June 2023.
Her research spans data management, information extraction and AI methods that support how machines interpret and organize information.
