Larsen and Toubro (L&T) Group firm LTM will deploy Microsoft 365 Copilot for about 140,000 employees as the engineering conglomerate expands the use of artificial intelligence across its businesses.

The rollout will integrate Microsoft’s AI assistant into daily workflows, including collaboration, decision-making and internal processes, LTM said.

LTM will also scale its in-house AI tools, including Agent A.S.K., which helps sales teams find and reuse existing content, and RAIma, an HR assistant that provides support through chat and voice.

The company said RAIma has improved IT and HR query resolution by 70% and increased employee engagement and HR productivity by 15%.

More than 23,000 developers already use AI tools daily, supported by over 1,300 AI specialists across the company.

“AI will fundamentally reshape how work gets done and how organizations create value,” said Venu Lambu, Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of LTM. He said the company is moving beyond pilot projects to deploy AI across the enterprise.

LTM said the deployment builds on its collaboration with Microsoft and will support AI adoption across onboarding, learning, software development, sales and support functions.
