Jeyandran Venugopal is a seasoned tech leader with over 20 years of experience across e-commerce and digital platforms. As Chief Product and Technology Officer at Flipkart, he led product, engineering, design, data science, and IT teams, driving the adoption of AI and automation to enhance customer experience and backend operations.
He spearheaded innovations like Flipverse, Flipkart’s 3D and AR shopping platform, and introduced AGVs into logistics. He also chaired Nasscom’s Deeptech Council, supporting India’s emerging tech ecosystem through mentorship and policy engagement.
Previously, he was CTO at Myntra and held leadership roles at Yahoo, Snapdeal, and Amazon, where he helped set up Amazon India and mentored future Flipkart founders. He holds a Mechanical Engineering degree from the College of Engineering, Guindy, and dual Master’s degrees from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
