5paisa Bets on Conversational Investing
The discount broker says users will eventually be able to access its investing and trading services through conversations with AI.

5paisa Capital has partnered with OpenAI to add artificial intelligence tools to its investing and trading platform, the discount broker said on Sunday.
The company plans to use AI to help retail investors identify opportunities, track market developments and analyze their portfolios. It said the tools would provide personalized insights and decision support while leaving investment decisions with users.
“By combining 5paisa’s deep understanding of investor needs with OpenAI’s cutting-edge AI capabilities, we aim to create a more intuitive, personalized and informed investing experience, while ensuring that investors remain firmly in control of their decisions,” Managing Director and Chief Executive Gaurav Seth said.
In a later phase, 5paisa plans to make its services available within ChatGPT, allowing users to access investing and trading functions through conversational prompts. The company said it would be the first brokerage platform to offer such access.
Founded as a discount brokerage platform, 5paisa offers trading and investment services across equities, derivatives, exchange-traded funds, mutual funds, initial public offerings and commodities.
