Abhishek Upperwal works at the intersection of AI, public systems and data infrastructure. A data scientist with experience across big-data tools, distributed systems and blockchain technologies, he has focused on applying AI to public health, urban governance and civic decision-making.
His earlier work contributed to India’s Smart Cities Mission, including efforts around urban mobility data standards.
At Soket AI Labs, his focus has moved toward AI applications that support municipal systems, wastewater epidemiology and public-sector analytics. Upperwal’s work shows how AI is being applied to civic and public-health problems, not only enterprise productivity.
