Google has unveiled Google Skills, a learning hub that pulls together nearly 3,000 courses, labs, and credentials from Google Cloud, Google DeepMind, Grow with Google, and Google for Education.

The platform aims to meet the growing demand for AI expertise and digital skills across industries.

The company said the platform serves as a single destination for users ranging from students and developers to business leaders, offering a mix of AI-focused and general technology training.

Learners can start with introductory modules such as Google AI Essentials and progress to advanced certifications from Google Cloud or research-oriented courses from DeepMind.

According to Google, more than 26 million courses, labs, and credentials have been completed across its learning programs in the past year.

The new platform consolidates these resources, adding new short-format lessons called AI Boost Bites and a Future-Proof Your AI Learning Strategy course designed for enterprise and government leaders.

Google Skills also includes interactive, AI-driven labs that let learners practice coding using Gemini Code Assist, as well as gamified learning tools like streaks and shareable achievements to improve engagement.

Organizations can customize training programs and track progress using built-in reporting and leaderboard features.

Access to Google Skills will vary by user type. Google Cloud customers can access the full library at no cost, while developers will receive 35 free credits each month to explore hands-on labs.

The company added that higher education institutions, government programs, nonprofits, and NGOs can access no-cost training through its Career Launchpad initiative.
