Mukul Jain is chief technology officer at Axis Max Life Insurance, a joint venture between Max Financial Services and Axis Bank. He leads the company’s technology, digital, and analytics strategy, drawing on over 22 years of experience in financial services technology across Asia Pacific.

Previously, Jain held senior roles at Tata AIA Life and Prudential Financial, leading digital transformation across South Korea, Taiwan, Indonesia, and Malaysia. He played a key role in launching “Insurance in a Box”—a plug-and-play platform that streamlined policy distribution—and in embedding AI, chatbots, and analytics into core operations.

An engineering graduate, Jain is known for executing complex tech programs across diverse markets. He brings a sharp focus on translating digital strategy into scalable, high-impact solutions.
