  • Bengaluru-based aerospace manufacturer Hical Technologies has secured a long-term contract from Dassault Aviation to manufacture and supply critical components used in the control systems of the Rafale fighter aircraft, the Press Trust of India reported.

Under the agreement, Hical will produce components that must meet Dassault Aviation’s engineering, qualification and reliability standards.

“Hical Technologies has demonstrated a strong commitment to quality and reliability, values that align closely with Dassault Aviation’s heritage of excellence,” Bruno Coiffier, Senior Executive Vice-President for procurement and purchasing at Dassault Aviation, said in a statement.

Yashas Jaiveer, managing director of Hical Technologies, said the contract reflects years of investment in engineering capability and precision manufacturing.

“This milestone reflects the engineering investment, manufacturing discipline and quality culture our teams have built,” Jaiveer said in the statement.

He added that supplying components for Rafale systems marks an important step for the company and highlights the growing role of Indian aerospace manufacturers in global defense supply chains.

Founded in 1988, Hical Technologies manufactures motors, solenoids, actuators, transformers and other precision components used in aerospace and defense systems. The company also provides precision machining, sheet-metal fabrication, cable harnesses and systems integration for global aerospace and defense customers.

Hical has participated as an Indian offset partner in several Indo-US, Indo-French and Indo-UK defense contracts, supporting India’s offset requirements in defense procurement.
