Infosys Ltd has introduced Infosys Topaz Fabric, a new platform designed to bring artificial intelligence (AI) into the core of enterprise IT service delivery.
The system integrates data infrastructure, AI models, automation agents, and workflows into a single framework intended to simplify and unify how organizations manage IT operations.
According to Infosys, the platform allows enterprises to access “services-as-software” through a modular setup that can work alongside existing IT investments. It supports a range of enterprise services including IT operations, transformation programs, quality engineering, and cybersecurity. The company said the platform comes with more than 50 pre-built AI agents that connect with nine commonly used enterprise systems.
Infosys added that Topaz Fabric incorporates a “human-in-the-loop” approach, where AI agents handle defined workflows while human teams oversee governance, accuracy, and contextual decisions. For example, an AI agent could manage employee queries related to travel and initiate related requests, with human supervisors reviewing the outcomes.
Satish H.C., Chief Delivery Officer at Infosys, noted, “This approach lets them reimagine their services stack to become the powerful engine that can accelerate to match the pace of business and deliver for them the competitive advantage that they need.”
Laxmi Srinivas Samayamantri, Vice President, Global Engineering, Data & Architecture at Nu Skin, said the company is working with Infosys to extend automation across its IT operations. “We are collaborating with Infosys to enrich beauty and wellness commerce IT operations through the power of Agentic AI. Together, we are expanding this further with Infosys Topaz Fabric by enabling Agent Assist features, which we anticipate will increase automation for application and infrastructure support, enhance resilience, and elevate the user experience,” Samayamantri said.
Infosys noted that Topaz Fabric is being developed in collaboration with AI solution providers and emerging startups in its partner network.
