ServiceNow is in advanced talks to acquire cybersecurity company Armis in a deal that could be valued at up to $7 billion, according to a Bloomberg report. If completed, the transaction would be the largest acquisition undertaken by ServiceNow.

The talks are described as being at a late stage, and an announcement could come as soon as this week. However, the report noted that the negotiations could still fall through or that another bidder could emerge. ServiceNow declined to comment, while Armis did not immediately respond to media queries.

Armis was founded in 2016 and develops software that helps organisations identify and secure internet-connected devices, including industrial systems and other operational technology that are often difficult to monitor. The San Francisco-based company was established by veterans of Israel’s military cyber intelligence units and works with customers across various sectors, including healthcare, finance, defence, and energy.

The company was last valued at $6.1 billion and raised $435 million in a funding round just over a month ago. That round was led by Goldman Sachs Alternatives’ growth equity fund, with participation from CapitalG, the venture arm of Alphabet. Earlier investors include Sequoia Capital and Bain Capital Ventures.

Armis has reported steady revenue growth. In August, it stated that annual recurring revenue had surpassed $300 million in 2025, compared with $200 million the previous year. CEO and Co-founder Yevgeny Dibrov had previously said the company was considering an initial public offering in 2026 or early 2027, subject to market conditions.

A potential acquisition would reflect a broader trend of technology startups choosing to be acquired rather than pursue public listings.

For ServiceNow, the deal would add to a series of acquisitions aimed at expanding its product portfolio. The Santa Clara, California-based company provides software that helps enterprises manage IT operations, employee services and internal workflows. In March, ServiceNow agreed to acquire AI firm Moveworks for $2.85 billion.
