Wipro Ltd has named Nagendra Bandaru Chief Executive Officer of its newly created AI-Native Business and Platforms unit, effective immediately, as the company deepens its push into AI-led products and platform-based services.
The new unit brings together Wipro’s platform businesses, including NetOxygen, CROAMIS, IHS, HPS healthcare platforms, Enterprise Telco AI, and delivery platforms WINGS and WEGA.
Wipro said it will focus on scaling integrated platforms, delivering measurable client outcomes, and building new offerings through an invest-build-partner model with Wipro Ventures and other partners.
Bandaru, a Wipro veteran of nearly three decades, will continue to report to Chief Executive and Managing Director Srini Pallia and remain part of the senior leadership team.
In a related move, Wipro appointed Kanwar Singh as President and Managing Partner of Technology Services Global Business Lines, succeeding Bandaru in that role.
Singh joins Wipro’s executive leadership team and brings more than 30 years of experience, including nearly two decades at Accenture, where he worked on large transformation programs across the Americas.
“This strategic pivot further sharpens Wipro Intelligence’s ability to deliver tangible value to clients and drive stronger business outcomes,” Pallia said.
“It positions us to build and scale AI-led platforms at an unprecedented speed and unlock new growth opportunities.”
Separately, Suzanne Dann will step down as CEO of the Americas-2 Strategic Market Unit from May 3, to pursue opportunities outside the company.
The leadership changes follow Wipro’s formal launch of the AI-Native Business and Platforms unit earlier this week, signalling a deeper pivot toward agentic AI platforms and monetising AI capabilities at scale.
