Rajesh Nambiar has been president of Nasscom since October 2024. With more than three decades of experience in enterprise technology, he has led major digital transformation programs across global firms.
Before taking over at Nasscom, he was chairman of its executive council and played a key role in positioning India as a global tech leader. He also served as chairman and managing director of Cognizant India, managing a team of 260,000, and led growth at Ciena and IBM.
He holds a master’s in statistics from the Indian Statistical Institute and completed an advanced management program at Harvard Business School. At Nasscom, he focuses on building India’s tech talent, research, and innovation ecosystem.
