Amitabh Nag is chief executive officer of Bhashini, a national initiative to make digital content available in Indian languages using artificial intelligence. He also serves as director at Digital India Corporation, where he oversees projects that bring technology into public services.
He chairs a working group building India’s first large-scale datasets to support artificial intelligence research. His efforts are aimed at creating a foundation for using data to solve real-world problems.
Earlier, he held senior roles at TCS, HP, and Coforge, managing digital projects for government and businesses. At Bhashini, he helps deliver services in Indian languages, while at Aikosh, he supports tools for use in healthcare, farming, and governance.
