Bajaj Capital Names Jai Bajaj as CEO
Bajaj Capital’s new CEO is betting that wealth advice can move beyond products and portfolios, with AI, data and human trust doing the heavy lifting.
Bajaj Capital has named Jai Bajaj as Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, effective 1 April, as the financial services firm expands its wealth management and digital advisory business.
Jai succeeds Rajiv Bajaj and takes charge as the company increases its use of technology, data and artificial intelligence in financial planning.
The company has also named Krishna Giri as head of wealth products, Vishvender Singh as chief marketing officer, and Gaurav Gupta as head of data science.
“Bajaj Capital was built by my grandfather K.K. Bajaj’s pioneering vision of bringing financial planning to Indian families at a time when the concept was still emerging in the country,” Jai Bajaj said.
He said the company would combine “human expertise, technology, data, and AI” to offer more personalized advisory services.
“Financial planning today is no longer simply about managing money or products; it is about understanding people’s life journeys and helping them achieve their most important milestones with confidence and clarity,” he said.
Singh, who has nearly 12 years of experience in wealth management, fintech and digital financial platforms, will lead brand transformation, digital growth, customer acquisition and customer engagement.
