Jibu Elias leads the Responsible Computing Challenge (RCC) in India at Mozilla Foundation, driving efforts to embed ethical AI practices in education and industry. In his earlier role, he served as head of content and research at INDIAai, the National AI Portal of India. He plays a key role in shaping the country’s AI policy, research landscape, and ecosystem engagement.

His work promotes responsible, inclusive, and strategic use of AI technologies across multiple sectors, with a strong focus on equity and accessibility.

Under his leadership, INDIAai has emerged as a hub for national AI research, thought leadership, and cross-sector collaboration.
