Jungle Ventures, founded in 2012 and based in Singapore, has made about 163 investments and identifies India as its largest single geography, more than 50% bigger than any other market in its portfolio. The firm says over half of future capital deployment will be earmarked for India, where cumulative commitments have already crossed ₹1,000 crore. Its sector mix spans B2B commerce, consumer internet, home infrastructure, fintech and applied-tech services.
The firm has tripled both investment pace and team presence in India since the pandemic, reflecting conviction in the domestic demand cycle and the ability of founders to build regionally competitive platforms. In 2025, Jungle participated in the $12 million Series E round of storytelling platform Pratilipi, underscoring its preference for category-defining brands with long-term defensibility. Its broader portfolio features unicorns Moglix, Livspace and Builder.ai, as well as insurtech provider Turtlemint.
Jungle typically deploys cheques ranging from $500,000 to $20 million and retains capacity to follow on. The firm has signaled a strong transaction pipeline, citing regulatory clarity, maturing tech adoption and improving exit prospects. India remains its principal market for scaling institutional ownership over the medium term as deal flow accelerates across software, commerce and financial services.
