Mukul Saxena is a former president and chief technology officer at Havells India Ltd, where he leads R&D, technological innovation, and the Centre for Research and Innovation. He brings over 34 years of global experience across energy, industrial automation, digitalization, and healthcare sectors, with deep expertise in R&D, strategic planning, project management, and technology management. Before joining Havells, Saxena held technology leadership roles at several companies. He was senior V-P and head of corporate technology and innovation at Siemens India, and technical director for advanced mechanical engineering, GE John F Welch Technology Center.

He built and led high-performing research and innovation teams at Siemens and Havells. He is instrumental in setting up research centers, driving product innovation, and developing new competencies. He has authored/co-authored more than 30 technical publications and contributed to books and international journals. He is a member of several academic and industry advisory boards, including IIT Madras and IIIT Bangalore.
