Ventureast, founded in 1997 and headquartered in Bengaluru, is one of India’s longest‑standing venture firms. The fund invests across high‑tech, enterprise software and consumer products and typically enters at the Series A stage. Over nearly three decades it has raised multiple funds that together manage more than $325 million.
The firm’s most recent disclosed investment was a $2.9 million seed round in mobility‑software startup Autoverse, co‑led with Alteria Capital and joined by Founder Collective. Ventureast’s portfolio features one unicorn, five public listings and 20 acquisitions, with companies such as ACKO, Zaggle and Zopper demonstrating its breadth. The firm often backs deep‑tech and mobility solutions before they become mainstream.
Ventureast employs 24 professionals, including 10 partners, and has participated in around 90 funding rounds. It frequently syndicates deals with entrepreneurs‑turned‑investors like Binny Bansal. Its longevity and sector diversity make Ventureast a key player in India’s early‑growth and tech‑innovation ecosystem.
