Sandhya Devanathan leads Meta’s strategy and operations in one of its largest markets of India and Southeast Asia. She has held multiple leadership roles within Meta since joining in 2016, including overseeing the Gaming business across Asia-Pacific.
Before Meta, Devanathan built her career in global banking institutions including Standard Chartered and Citibank, working across strategy, product and portfolio management roles in international markets. Her experience spans financial services and technology platforms.
She serves on various industry and advisory bodies, including roles linked to the US-India Business Council and Indian industry associations. Devanathan has been active in advancing discussions on digital economy growth, platform governance and diversity in leadership.
