Suchitra Ella is Managing Director of Bharat Biotech, the vaccine and biotechnology company she co-founded in 1996 with Krishna Ella. She oversees operational, financial and business development functions within the company, which has developed vaccines across multiple therapeutic areas.
Bharat Biotech gained international attention for its vaccine development programs, including its role in India’s COVID-19 response. Ella has been involved in corporate governance, industry engagement and public health initiatives linked to the company’s growth.
