John Khiangte is Director of Government Affairs and Public Policy at Microsoft India, where he also leads the company’s cybersecurity policy strategy as part of its Corporate, External and Legal Affairs (CELA) team.
With two decades of policy and regulatory experience, he has worked with Disney-Star India, PLR Chambers, Amway, Albright Stonebridge Group, and the Economist Intelligence Unit, shaping debates across technology, media, and trade.
An economist by training, he holds a master’s degree from the Delhi School of Economics and a bachelor’s from SRCC, bringing academic depth to his policy work.
