Shivnath Thukral is Vice President for Public Policy and Government Affairs at PhonePe, where he drives strategic engagement with government stakeholders and strengthens the fintech’s policy architecture.
With more than two decades of experience, he has held senior leadership roles at Meta, WhatsApp, Carnegie India, and the Essar Group. Before moving into corporate and policy leadership, he was a prominent face in Indian television journalism as Managing Editor of NDTV Profit and Group Business Editor at NDTV.
An economist, he holds degrees from the Delhi School of Economics, Delhi University, and Southern Illinois University, Carbondale.
