  • Homegrown digital entertainment platform WinZO has launched in the US, marking its entry into the world’s biggest gaming market by revenue and signaling its ambition to become a global hub for interactive content.

The US debut comes two years after WinZO’s expansion into Brazil, placing the company at the intersection of three of the four largest mobile gaming markets: India, Brazil, and the US.

Together, these markets represent a combined value of $65–70 billion and account for more than 20 billion annual mobile game downloads.

WinZO said the expansion is part of what it calls “Tech Exports 2.0,” an effort to globalize India’s gaming industry by giving developers the ability to launch culturally relevant games and esports experiences for international audiences.

The company’s ecosystem, with 250 million users and more than 100 gaming formats in 15 languages, is supported by over 100 proprietary technology patents, including real-time game engines, live streaming, and AI-powered cybersecurity solutions.

“The launch of WinZO in the US is a proud milestone for us and for India’s digital entertainment ecosystem,” said co-founders Saumya Singh Rathore and Paavan Nanda in a statement posted on LnkedIn. “We are equally excited to introduce ZO TV, our new short video format, which diversifies our content offerings and strengthens WinZO’s position as a global hub for interactive entertainment.”

The US launch and the introduction of ZO TV, a new short-form video content format, comes just days after the platform had to suspend its real-money gaming offerings in India following the passage of the Online Gaming Bill, 2025.

The company is backing its push with the $50 million ZO Fund, which supports early-stage tech ventures and enables the exchange of talent, culture, and intellectual property across India, Brazil, and the US.

While adding features for international users, WinZO said it would also continue serving its Indian audience with multiple offerings, adjusting where necessary to comply with evolving regulations.

Founded in 2018, WinZO has grown into India’s largest social gaming and entertainment platform.
