Most enterprises have not yet seriously reckoned with the quantum threat to their cryptographic infrastructure. QNu Labs has been preparing for it since 2016. The Bengaluru firm builds quantum cryptography solutions, including quantum key distribution, quantum random number generators, and post-quantum cryptography algorithms resistant to quantum attacks.
Its client list includes Cisco, AWS, L&T, and the World Economic Forum. At the India AI Impact Summit 2026, QNu demonstrated quantum-secured AI infrastructure, a signal of where the company sees the market heading as AI systems become more deeply embedded in critical national infrastructure.
The startup has raised $22.3 million across ten rounds, including a $7.04 million Series A in April 2024, and is collaborating with Florida International University to advance its platform toward wider commercial deployment. The question of who secures the keys to India’s AI infrastructure is not yet being asked loudly. When it is, QNu intends to be the answer.
