Naina Lal Kidwai is Chairperson of the Board and Senior Advisor at Rothschild & Co India and one of India’s most senior banking and financial services leaders. She previously served as Executive Director on the board of HSBC Asia-Pacific and as Chairman of HSBC India, overseeing the bank’s operations during a period of expansion in corporate and investment banking.
Over the course of her career, Kidwai has served on numerous corporate boards in India and internationally, including advisory roles linked to private equity and global investment institutions. She has also held leadership positions in industry bodies, including serving as President of the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry.
Kidwai holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and has been recognized for her contributions to trade and industry with the Padma Shri. She has written extensively on sustainability and water management and continues to be active in corporate governance and public policy discussions.
